I am an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Maryland, College Park. I received my Ph.D. in Psychology and Social Policy in 2021 from Princeton University, where I also completed a postdoctoral fellowship. At UMD, I am a member of the Social, Decision, and Organizational Sciences (SDOS) area and I lead the Choice, Inequality, and Policy (CHIP) Lab.
I study beliefs about poverty and social class; biased perceptions of sexual harassment; effects of abundant choice or scarce resources; and other topics at the intersection of diversity science, judgment and decision making, and social cognition.
I am planning to review applications for PhD students during the 2025-2026 admissions cycle (i.e., to start Fall 2026). For more information about my lab’s current projects, please visit my lab website.
